PERSONAL STATEMENT

Since my early age my most significant interest in life was business and the worldwide money flow. I was lucky to have a regular opportunity to satisfy my curiosity in this field with the help of a couple of close people who are directly involved in business. As a child I spent hours listening to the stories of their successes in life. It has dramatically influenced my personality formation and from these days I always knew what I want to achieve in my life and that I need to be as good at financial education as well as at academic.

I  believe that education is the foundation of success and it was always an important thing for me. However, I remember, my mind is my greatest asset, so I am careful with what I put into it. I have chosen business and management because this is the area I intend to enter, after leaving universityI would like to develop my own business. My plans are to improve my cognitive, investigating, numeracy and interpersonal skills while studying at university. Another significant aspect is to increase my business awareness.

From my point of view, to become successful you must learn how to manage cash flow, systems and people. My work experience in the bowling industry taught me leadership, how to buy and sell products, how to accept rejections and the ability to work under pressure. I know that all of this knowledge is important for my future success.

During my high school life, I used to write for the school newspaper, this hobby later continued while working for a luxury magazine as a journalist and photographer. The experience I have gained has widely developed my communication skills. In my native country I took part in organizing photo-exhibitions, supported by the Indonesian Embassy. Through this I was able to become acquainted with a wide range of different people and to develop my team-working ability. It taught me that first is the mission, second is the team, and personal interests come last.

I have always been known as a kind of person who does not follow where the path may lead,  but instead goes where there is no path and leave a trail for others to follow. For me the key to success is to remember to dream big, think long-term, achieve on a daily basis, and take gradual steps. My next step is to study in the university of my choice.
